04 / Shelters & Guilds
Human settlements transform recovered Zero Matter into essential infrastructure. Horde Ruin Shelters organize their own production and nest systems. These are meaningful, persistent in-game properties.
The exact production balancing, reward shares and gameplay mechanics are subject to development and testing.
05 / Game economy
Spend Z Credits in the game. Receive eligible funded Epoch rewards in Z Coin every 14 days. RU measures resources; Performance Points measure verified character contribution.
Use normal RU for upkeep and crafting or trade it for Credits. Only eligible resources you personally actively collected can be surrendered for robot Epoch rewards. Bought or transferred RU earns no contribution points.
Up to 10 cold RU per full day, at half rate. Bound to your own Shelter or designated Guild for upkeep and crafting. Not tradable, not convertible into reward contributions and never an Epoch claim.
The owner receives agreed rent in Credits. The renter receives collected resources and eligible personal activity attribution. No automatic landlord share of the renter’s Epoch rewards.
1 purchased Credit costs US$1 of in-game purchasing value. Use Credits for resources, rent, repairs, crafting and services. No cash or Z Coin redemption.
Non-tradable score from verified missions, defense, rescue, recovery and contribution.
Separate proposed market token for external use and funded 14-day Epoch rewards. Price varies; no automatic mission minting or promised return.
The game comes first. Resource sales and robot rent transfer Credits between players; these receipts provide in-game spending power. Eligible active extraction and meaningful character activity may separately qualify for variable Z Coin rewards. Rewards are bought on the market with the approved reward budget.
06 / Development
Mankind Zero is in development. The early browser prototype demonstrates the direction; the larger world, multiplayer systems and economy need further development, testing and validation.
Voxel art direction, game rules, concept assets and browser gameplay experiments.
More polished movement, combat, extraction, shelters and feedback-led iterations.
Persistent systems, community features, secure wallet integrations and production balancing.
Development stages are goals rather than guaranteed delivery dates. WE ARE NOT BUILDING FOR A SINGLE LAUNCH.
Game & Ecosystem / Reader edition
HUMANITY BEGINS AGAIN.
Explore. Survive. Build. Earn. An accessible summary of the Mankind Zero universe, independent Genesis assets, resource modes and player economy. The complete Whitepaper is available below.
Mankind Zero is a planned third-person, voxel-style survival game set in the aftermath of the Andromeda Fall. Players will discover ruined environments, navigate dangerous territory, gather useful resources, help their chosen faction and strengthen persistent shelters. The vision combines compelling gameplay with optional digital ownership; neither buying an NFT nor using blockchain technology should be a prerequisite for enjoying a meaningful survival experience.
A devastating energy event transformed humanity’s world. Power grids, transport and communications collapsed. The people who escaped the immediate devastation formed small communities in protected structures. The exposed were changed into red-eyed Fallers. Some infected survivors remain recoverable: their eyes glow blue, signaling they are Turned Humans rather than ordinary Fallers.
Crater sites hold Zero Matter, a powerful and contested resource. Humans recover it to rebuild, operate shelter technology and develop equipment. The Horde gathers and uses it through its own systems. Both sides return to the same dangerous world, but they fight for different goals.
Warriors fight on the front line and challenge dangerous Alphas. Medics heal allies, rescue the wounded and cure blue-eyed Turned Humans. Cyberdogs help locate Zero Matter.
Alpha Fallers lead hunting packs and can Turn vulnerable Humans. Alpha Queens possess a frightening red paralyzing gaze and defend the nest. Andromutes serve as the Horde’s Zero Matter Seekers.
Genesis specialist powers are designed with constraints and counters. Human players do not need to own the rarest character to participate in combat, discovery, rescue or defense.
A run begins in a refuge. Players prepare, deploy into the contested world, search for supplies and Zero Matter, survive threats, complete meaningful objectives, and extract valuable cargo back to their shelter. What they bring back supports character and settlement development.
No conventional firearms are planned for the game’s core combat; the Stoneslinger is a specialist ranged class using a sling.
The Genesis Collection consists of 9,000 independent NFTs: 2,000 characters, 2,000 Seekers, 2,000 Shelters and 3,000 Z-Robots. Cyberdogs and Andromutes are owned separately and are not automatically bundled with Genesis characters.
| Genesis asset | Quantity |
|---|---|
| Warrior / Medic / Alpha Faller / Alpha Queen | 500 each |
| Genesis Cyberdog / Genesis Andromute | 1,000 each |
| Genesis Human Shelter / Genesis Ruin Shelter | 1,000 each |
| Neutral Genesis Z-Robots | 3,000 |
| All Genesis NFTs | 9,000 |
Genesis sale prices and the official mint date have not been announced. The proposed Genesis utilities described here are game design targets, not promises of access, profit or value.
Following Genesis, additional playable Standard assets may expand participation without being counted as new Genesis NFTs.
Each Genesis NFT has a distinct planned use. Characters, Seekers, Shelters and Z-Robots are separate assets. Wallet ownership may need to be verified and linked to a registered player account before Guild or gameplay functions become available.
| Genesis NFT | Planned gameplay utility |
|---|---|
| Warrior | Human combat, defense and matching Shelter/Guild eligibility. |
| Medic | Healing, rescues and treatment of blue-eyed Turned Humans; Human Shelter/Guild eligibility. |
| Alpha Faller | Horde combat, leadership and Ruin Shelter/Guild eligibility. |
| Alpha Queen | Horde leadership, paralyzing gaze and a future independent Standard Andromute breeding service. |
| Cyberdog | Independent Human Seeker. Discovers deposits and collects up to 6–10 Resource Units/day through active exploration, based on level. |
| Andromute | Independent Horde Seeker. Finds deposits and collects up to 6–10 Resource Units/day through active exploration, based on level. |
| Human Shelter | Human base for crafting, upgrades and Guild activities. One eligible Human character to acquire; two assigned to activate a Guild. |
| Ruin Shelter | Horde base for nests, production and Guild activities. One eligible Horde character to acquire; two assigned to activate a Guild. |
| Z-Robot | Neutral extractor: up to 20 Resource Units/day active or 10 Resource Units/day cold matter in automatic mode. Rent is paid in Credits. No Shelter robot cap; three operational robots per verified player. |
Seekers collect only during verified active exploration. Robots have active normal-material mode and authorized automatic cold-material mode. A renter receives the agreed production; the owner receives rent in Credits. Cold matter remains bound to the operator’s own Shelter or Guild and cannot earn Epoch rewards. Holding alone creates no guaranteed income.
A Shelter requires one matching-faction Genesis character for eligibility. An active Guild requires two distinct characters of that faction, of any class or gender. Maximum two active Guilds are planned per registered player, with wallet verification and game records. Losing eligibility may make a Guild dormant, but does not confiscate the Shelter NFT.
All these capabilities depend on successful game development, testing and release. Daily Resource Units figures are ceilings, not guaranteed yields. More detail is available in the downloadable Whitepaper.
Genesis Human Shelters support Human crafting, defense and Guild activities; Genesis Ruin Shelters support Horde nests, Biomass processing and Guild activities. There are 1,000 Genesis NFTs of each type.
One eligible same-faction Genesis character allows acquisition of one matching Shelter, under the holding-count rule. Guild activation requires two distinct Genesis characters of that same faction assigned to one Shelter. Any combination of eligible classes or genders is allowed; Seekers are owned separately, not bundled.
Shelters have no numerical robot assignment cap. A verified player may operate at most three robots across active and automatic modes, including rentals. A separate maximum of two active Guilds per verified player remains proposed. Wallet checks and a game database are planned to enforce permissions. Losing Guild eligibility does not confiscate the Shelter NFT.
Human-side mechanical Seeker. Designed to scout and locate Zero Matter, with distinct interactions against the Andromute.
Horde-side, quadrupedal biological Seeker. Searches for Zero Matter and competes with Cyberdogs.
Neutral, compact resource-gathering unit. Planned in five equal color variants, each with the same gameplay profile.
Seekers recover up to 6–10 Resource Units of Zero Matter per day through active exploration, depending on level. Active robots can collect up to 20 Resource Units of total materials per day; automatic mode collects up to 10 Resource Units of cold Zero Matter per full day. The three-robot player allowance covers both modes together. Time and production limits follow each robot across rentals, wallets and mode switches. Automatic mode is not a second full daily harvest. Cold matter cannot be traded or contributed for rewards.
Genesis includes 3,000 neutral Z-Robots: 600 each in Industrial Orange, Arctic White, Crimson Red, Shadow Purple and Toxic Green. All colors perform equally. Each verified person may operate up to three robots across active and automatic modes combined. Shelters have no numerical robot cap. Cold matter stays bound to the operator’s own Shelter or designated Guild for upkeep and approved crafting; it cannot be sold, gifted or used for Epoch rewards.
Use Z Credits for all in-game purchases and payments. Receive eligible Epoch rewards in Z Coin.
One purchased Credit costs US$1 of in-game purchasing value. Players can buy Z Coin and use it to purchase Credits at a live quote. Use Credits for resources, robot rent, repairs, crafting and services. Credit payments transfer existing balances; Credits cannot be converted back into Z Coin or cash. A resource seller or robot landlord receives spending power, not withdrawable dollar income.
Resource Units means Resource Unit. Normal resources can be stored, used or traded for Credits. Only eligible robot resources personally gathered through verified active play can become a contribution to the robot reward pool. Bought, gifted, transferred and cold resources never qualify, including after storage, refining or crafting. Surrendered units are consumed and cannot also be sold.
Automatic mode produces cold Zero Matter at half rate, up to 10 Resource Units per full day. It stays within the operator’s own Shelter or designated Guild. It cannot be sold or gifted and cannot earn Epoch rewards. The maximum of three operational robots per verified player covers active and automatic mode together; extra owned or rented-out fleets cannot run automatically.
The Shelter owner or authorized Guild payer supplies upkeep. A renter is not automatically responsible for another player’s Shelter. Under fixed rent, the owner receives Credit rent and the renter receives production and personal activity attribution. For example, an operator collects 20 Resource Units and sells 8 to a Shelter owner for an agreed Credit price. The operator keeps 12 Resource Units; the buyer cannot claim rewards for the purchased 8 Resource Units.
Eligible active robot contributions and verified character Performance Points determine shares of separate funded pools. Character ownership, login and idle presence do not qualify. Reward tokens are purchased on the market using the approved budget, rather than minted automatically by missions. All three permitted robots use equal weighting; no fixed 1% share cap is adopted.
Rewards vary with the available budget and total eligible contribution and may be zero. If a distributed token amount rises in market value, its dollar value rises; a fixed dollar budget buys fewer tokens at a higher price. No fixed income or appreciation is promised. Token launch and final rules remain subject to testing, implementation and applicable review.
Concept artwork, storyboards, game-system design and early prototype work provide the foundation. The intended next stages include a more polished browser demo, community feedback, optimized character systems, controlled progression, testing of Guild/Shelter features, multiplayer development and only then appropriate live token integrations.
